1.   Citation

   These Regulations may be cited as the Building Societies (Classification of Urban Certificate of Rights Plots as Urban Immovable Property) Regulations.

 

2.   Interpretation

   In these Regulations "urban certificate of rights plot" means a plot of land within a township specified in a certificate of rights issued in respect of the plot whereby a grant or other disposition thereof has been made and executed in terms of the State Land Act.

 

3.   Immovable urban property

   Every piece of land comprised in an urban certificate of rights plot is hereby classified as urban immovable property for the purposes of the Act.
