1.   Citation

   This Order may be cited as the Acquisition of Property (Board of Assessment) (Fees and Allowances) Order.

2.   Fees

   (1) The chairman of a Board of Assessment shall be paid a fee of P350 for each day or part thereof in which the Board sits.

   (2) A member of a Board of Assessment shall be paid a fee of P300 for each day or part thereof on which the Board sits.

3.   Expenses

   The travelling expenses and subsistence allowances payable to the chairman and members of a Board of Assessment shall be at the rates applicable to a public officer.

1.   Citation

   These Rules may be cited as the Acquisition of Property (Board of Assessment) Rules.

2.   Form of notice

   The form of notice requiring either the attendance of any person as a witness before a Board of Assessment or to produce any document before the said Board, or to do both shall be in the form set out in the Schedule hereto.

3.   Service of notice

   Service of the said notice may be effected by delivering to the person named a copy of the said notice and at the same time showing him the original and informing him of the exigency thereof.

4.   Proceedings before Board

   Except as otherwise provided by the Act or any rule made at any time under section 31(1) thereof, the proceedings before the Board shall be conducted in accordance with the practice and procedure observed in the High Court in its civil jurisdiction with such variations as circumstances may require.

   And take notice that if without reasonable excuse you refuse or neglect to attend before the Board as a witness or to produce any document when required to do so by the Board you will be guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding P50 or, in default of payment thereof, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months.
