ACT 26 OF 2025 — ILLICIT TRAFFIC IN NARCOTIC DRUGS AND PSYCHOTROPIC SUBSTANCES (AMENDMENT) ACT

An Act to amend the Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Date of Commencement: 22nd December 2025 [through SI 163/2025].

Amends: ss 2, 4, 6, 18, 27, 28 and 29.

Inserts: ss 30 to 45.

Subs: ss 23, 24, 25, 26.

General Amendment: (1) The words "designated law enforcement officer" substituted by the words "law enforcement officer" wherever they appear in the Act by section 2(a) of the Act 26 of 2025.

(2) The words "drug enforcement officer or" inserted immediately before the words "law enforcement officer" wherever they appear in the Act by section 2(b) of the Act 26 of 2025.
