These Regulations may be cited as the Building Societies (Classification of Urban Certificate of Rights Plots as Urban Immovable Property) Regulations.
In these Regulations "urban certificate of rights plot" means a plot of land within a township specified in a certificate of rights issued in respect of the plot whereby a grant or other disposition thereof has been made and executed in terms of the State Land Act (Cap. 32:01).
Every piece of land comprised in an urban certificate of rights plot is hereby classified as urban immovable property for the purposes of the Act.

These Regulations may be cited as the Building Societies (Conversion) Regulations.
In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires—
"conversion statement" means a statement issued by a society at the time of conversion;
"distribution of funds" means a distribution of funds of the society or the conferral of right in relation to shares, if any, of a successor company proposed to be made to, or upon members of a society as a result of the conversion;
